Editor’s Note: Around the Bend

Well, here we are. My task, for now, is finished—unless super Pearl Jam sleuths can uncover an original I’ve erroneously overlooked, or make the case for on-the-fence concerns such as the Bayleaf/Pearl Jam mystery “Sunburn”.
So what happens now? If people are interested in taking on Pearl Jam’s rich history of covers, side projects, solo material, concerts, or other ideas, e-mail your thoughts to me at the following address: morethanten@gmail.com
What I’d like to do is just edit for spelling/grammar, and make sure that all categories are navigable and intuitive. For instance, all live shows would fall under one category, covers under another, and all solo/side material, etc., etc. If people would like to reinvestigate original material already posted about, we can find new ways to categorize that writing as well.
Let me know if you’re interested, and what you propose to do (maybe a sample entry or two?), and we’ll go from there!!!
Thanks again everyone for a great six months!

Is that Eddie Vedder or C13 signing autographs? Nice job man.
Thanks for all your great comments BYM.
I keep coming back to the page, because I have it bookmarked and it just seems like second nature to click on the link. I’m goin through some withdrawal. Boooo.
Become a contributer. We’ve already got one aboard, so there’ll be some updates coming in the near future. Also, all posts are still available to post new thoughts on the songs when the mood strikes!
C13, just an idea but perhaps you can start a new sub-section called Solo projects featuring all the songs from ‘Into the Wild’ and ‘Bayleaf’. I’d read about these for sure, not so much the side project stuff though.
If you’re up for writing either of those, just e-mail the address BYM.
Thanks but I don’t have the skill or talent to do that. You on the other hand do. Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about Matt Cameron’s backing vocals on record and live. I think I’m gonna start a Matt Cameron backing vocal Blog.
Every. Single. Backing. Vocal.
JK. (There is still a need for a good Eddie Vedder website/blog out there though.)
C13, I’m shit out of ideas, why don’t you start from scratch again.
I would really like to read about the side projects, since I am really only familiar with Mad Season. I am really curious about the rest.
Also maybe something about the pre-Pearl Jam days? Temple of the Dog, Mother Love Bone, Green River…
Hey, did you miss “Leaving Here”?
Those are all good suggestions for someone else to take. I’m happy to play editor for pre-Pearl Jam stuff as well. “Leaving Here” is a cover, so that’s why it’s not included here.
Thanks for undertaking this project. I have enjoyed the journey and can’t wait for a new release for you to weigh in on. I haven’t commented until now but I am a Faithful reader. I’m sure there are many. The blog gives me some rationalization for the obsession with this band.
Thanks Hit Me! It provided me with much the same in terms of rationalization.
