The build-up in "Thunderclap" is great, classic Pearl Jam. I think I like the song so much because I associate with the great imagery from the TB2K DVD.

Harmony is a cool, grungy rock song. Not exactly my speed. I surely wouldn't be surpised if Matt C. wrote it.

I think "Foldback" is the sleeper for me though. If that song was five minutes longer, I would be ecstatic. I think it has a really soothing "Immortality" vibe to it. I wish the TB2K version of "Foldback" had been as long as "Thunderclap" but I guess it wasn't to be.

I never noticed that THUNDERCLAP sounded like GIDEON. An interesting observation. THUNDERCLAP is a better tune. I like all three, but THUNDERCLAP is far and away the best of the three. I just love this tune. The way that the rhythm pattern of the riff plays insistenly throughout the song as the mood shifts from calm and sunny to heavy and dark, is infectious. What a song this could have been.

I also like FOLDBACK and HARMONY. I love the badass, heavy sound of HARMONY. If anyone could write lyrics to this, it would be Eddie. I disagree that FOLDBACK sounds like Vedder-style pop such as WISHLIST or UNTITLED. It doesn't have the crispness of those tunes. Instead it has the sweet, gentle style of Bayleaf-era Stone. It sounds more like the intro to SUNBURN.

In interviews the band members often allude to instrumental pieces that they never finish. Based on these, I would love it if they released more "unfinished" tunes from their vault.
